Hi, I’m Joi.
I'm the person you'll work with at Glass Fish Design. I live in North Carolina, and I've spent 17 years building software professionally. I also studied graphic design and 3D animation, so I get to bring both sides of my background to your project.

I’ve been writing code since I was a kid. Later, I went to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale to study graphic design and 3D animation. I liked being able to think about how something should look and then figure out how to make it work.
Over the years, I’ve led front-end teams at Office Depot, built reusable website components at GiddyUp Group, and worked as a Staff Engineer at ZenBusiness. That work has taken me from the parts of a website you see to the systems and databases running behind it.
Somewhere along the way, I realized how much I enjoy working directly with small business owners. I like getting to know the person behind the business, hearing what they’re trying to do, and helping them work out how a website can support that.
I founded Singularity Systems LLC, the company behind Glass Fish Design, in 2017. When we work together, you’ll talk directly with me about the design and the technical decisions. I’ll also help you decide how you’d like to manage the site once it’s up and running.
